So, following in my big sissies footsteps, I decided to start my own blog, and since I am not in school right now, I feel this might be a positive use of some of my idle time. Maybe this can be an outlet for a little bit of the stress I am feeling, and a way to keep people updated on my everchanging life. I mean I have a livejournal too but I hardly ever keep that current, and I will be on this more to keep up with my sisters in Kfalls.
I would like to say I have the most wonderful man in my life and I get to marry him on the first day of spring, or in latin, Primtemps.. Normally spring is my least favorite season, I tend to favor Summer and Autumn ( especially pumpkin season)in the Valley, spring is wet, really wet, it rains all the time and the sun rarely makes an appearance. The grass is, well never dry, even for a moment, and driving to work is just that more time consuming. This is the first spring here that I am truly excited for. I may have even found the perfect dress. I am almost sure that on my wedding day it will rain, which since the wedding and reception will be indoors I don't mind. In fact, some believe rain on your wedding is a sign of good fortune. Rain is what keeps the valley green and the summer weather tolerable.
Being a bride-to-be has let me enjoy summer and fall even more this year, getting excited over the first pumpkins on display, and swimming with Joshua, and Bowie (our dog) whenever I could. Usually i would be more anxious or upset that I wouldn't be attending school in the fall, but work, an 8 mo. old puppy and planning have kept me busy and my mind off of Dr. Sil's history classes, or Christy's latin classes. I don't miss trekking all over campus in the rain.
... I can't wait til spring!
